Redbuds still hanging on...

The Redbud blossoms are still on the trees.  We have had frost the last two nights, that pretty much fried the young green leaves on these and  a lot of other little trees.  It's nice to still have so much spring color to enjoy.

Beautiful Mocabee Creek.

If you can get past all the garbage that is usually floating downstream, or hung up on rocks, it's actually a very pretty place.  Last summer, it was so hot and dry, there was almost no water running at all.
A redbud in bloom.  Just beyond the red gate is the newly patched cow pasture.

pretty bloomers


The Paw-Paws are blooming. Little upside- down dark purple flowers...I've taken a few terrible photos of them. Sorry they are fuzzy. I'll try to figure out the camera. anyhoo, it looks like the tree will be loaded down with fruit this year.
