Everything was on high alert yesterday. Historic levels of water fell from the sky. I have some photos to share, but they are stuck at home, without power or phone service. It was crazy, within fifteen minutes the donkey and 2 sets of sheep were stranded on little islands surrounded by knee deep water. We moved the pigs earlier in the day suspecting the creek would overflow it's banks. Everyone seemed to be safe and secure by bedtime. I'll report a little later with any storm losses. Things aren't looking so hot for my incubator load of eggs (or the biddies that were in the brooder). drat!
